I finally received the email from moomoo that the money I deposited cleared.
Upon checking my moomoo app, it does say that my Max Buying Power is $83.04. The additional 20 cents on this came as a dividend payment from one of the stocks.
I saw that the money is available around 10am but got distracted and was only able to make a stock purchase around 1:48pm. I think it turned out well because the entire $83.04 was used to buy exactly 3 shares of Pfizer (PFE).
moomoo only allows you to purchase whole shares and does not allow a purchase of fractional shares. Got a little lucky this time that I don't have some money left that I have to look for penny stocks to purchase.
